As we are not aligned with any hotel chain or venue our Venue Finding Service is independent and unbiased, ensuring you receive personal service and advice that best suits your needs.

How our Venue Finding Service is COMPLIMENTARY

The Worldwide Venue Finding Service we provide is complimentary – how?

At the completion of your conference or any other event we have booked for you we will receive a brokerage fee from that venue.

This brokerage fee is not at an additional charge to the rates quoted and confirmed to you as rates are not inflated by us or the venue to cover the brokerage fee. Due to our global buying power in the majority of cases we can obtain more competitive rates than you would be able to.

Karen Jepson

With over 25 years experience in the Hospitality Industry including senior management roles with Ramada Hotels, Peppers Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Karen moved to Brisbane in 2000 and opened the Brisbane division of CVBS. Seeing it’s potential she bought the Brisbane division in 2002 and purchased the company in 2007 after relocating back to Sydney in 2006.

Karen is the driving force behind CVBS and is extremely customer focused with an intimate knowledge of their needs and has a unique ability to communicate across all levels with both her clients and her suppliers, ensuring the best outcome for all her clients’ events.

Anthony Jepson

Anthony saw the potential to take CVBS to the next level and joined Karen in 2006 following an extensive marketing background in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries and has worked closely with Karen to bring to CVBS to it’s reputation today as one of Australia’s leading Venue Finding Agencies.

His extensive product knowledge, negotiation skills and passion for his clients ensures they are presented with the best venues at the best price.

Virginia McCarthy

Virginia comes from a management background in the automotive industry and financial services sector and has been a fantastic asset since joining CVBS in 2008.

She is a true communicator with her clients and has forged very strong relationships with them due to her innate skill of being able to very quickly identify their needs enabling her to achieve the ultimate outcome for her clients’ conference objectives. She is relishing her role as our Business Development Executive.

At CVBS, we’re ‘obsessed’ about our customers. Our business is all about the customer, in the world of digital, often the customer is forgotten. At CVBS, we truly believe in the focus being on the customer and that’s why we’re still in business today.

CVBS will work for you to research and present venues within your desired destination or destinations that best fit your brief at the most competitive price.

Once we have your conference or event brief we will:

Make initial contact with you within 2 hours of receipt of your enquiry
Select the venues within your desired destination which best meet your specific needs and budget
Obtain quotes on your behalf and negotiate the best rates possible for your preferred venues.
Provide you with a detailed proposal that meets the requirements of your brief including costs for each venue within 24-48 hours of your initial enquiry.
Once you have chosen your venue we will confirm your booking for you.
Upon confirmation we will arrange the contract on your behalf and you will then deal directly with your selected venue for all contract and billing arrangements.

We can also arrange site inspections of your desired venues and accompany you if you require to make sure you have peace of mind that you are selecting the right venue.
